The Conservative movement was a bit marginalized during the Bush Years due to the lurch leftward by the moderate leadership. Bush would not fight back for the most part, the revolutionists were bad mouthed by so called friends in the media (Those of us who participated in the 1994 revolt) even the leader of the Revolt went wobbly on us to a point. Now that Mike Pence is head of the Confrence committee in the House at least there is a true conservative in a leadership position with a degree of influence. Mitch McConnell held on as Minority leader so it is not a shut out for conservatives. We also saw RINOS leave the party and perhaps we could purge a few more. We saw that Conservatisim can win in California. May the will of the people trump the Black Robes. Two plebecites against Gays using the term Marriages ratify the will of the people. Gays would also disreguard the will of the people. Marriage is not a right, it is an institution and you may join or leave at your inclination. It is both a State and Church institution, but the Church is not obligated to recognize it. That right belongs to the institution. Not the individual. The Church also in recognizing the Marriage trumps the State because the State got into the recognittion game long after the Church did. Marriage is a religious word. It is also a legal word. Marriage belongs to religion however and there fore the State has no right to define it the people do and the Church above all.
Some unresolved questions Gays and the Black Robes need to address.
1. If a Gay Union is allowed to exist when there is a break up and there are and will be, will community property be divided up so parity is preserved?
2. Support laws should never apply no spousal or child support. It is a slavery issue.
3.Biological children will never be ceeded to the non-biological parent.
Notice the Chattering classes are not even addressing these issues.
